什么是过去完成时？

过去完成时用来描述在过去某个特定时间之前已经发生的动作或状态，强调的是一个动作发生在另一个过去动作之前。换句话说，它是“过去的过去”。

过去完成时的构成

过去完成时：主语 + had + 动词过去分词 + 其他

例句：

When I arrived at the party, everyone had already left. （当我到达派对时，大家都已经离开了。）

She had finished her homework before dinner. （她在晚餐前已经完成了作业。）

过去完成时的用法

表示一个动作发生在另一个过去动作之前：

By the time I got to the cinema, the movie had started. （当我到达电影院时，电影已经开始了。）

表示在过去某个时间之前，一个动作已经完成：

She realized that she had lost her keys. （她意识到她已经丢了钥匙。）

用于表示过去的一种假设或虚拟情况：

If she had studied harder, she would have passed the exam. （如果她学习更努力，她就会通过考试了。）
